1988 Toyota Pickup Option Delete

Up for auction at no reserve is my 1988 2wd 22R 4speed regular cab pickup option delete (No AC or Power Steering). This truck is in amazing condition for its age with only 40,780 miles on the clock. That being said it is not a new show truck. This truck spent most of its life out west and is why its there is no rot on this truck. As you can see this truck spent its life under a shed which is why hood and cab is faded and bed is not. She still wears all of her original paint and has a light patina which looks really cool. I have had many nice mustangs and this little truck gets more compliments than any of them. This truck has set most of its life which is represented by the low miles and I have owned this truck for almost 2 years. When I purchased this truck I didn't believe I would ever sell but my brother offered me a great deal in his rare TX Baja and had to move this truck out of the garage. I hate to see her set outside so that is the reason I am selling. All that being said I'm not trying to represent this as a new "Perfect" truck and it has a few minor dings particularity around the rear tailgate which is pictured. I just had the seat recovered by a local craftsman in gray tweed and vinyl(back) and it looks great. It originally had a vinyl cover but since the truck is an option delete with no AC, I chose tweed which makes it much more comfortable to ride in on warm days. Before I got the truck from a friend he replaced the carb and intake with a LCE Offenhauser / Redline Webber 32-36 because it had set so much. I have all of the original parts and have pair (electrical and mechanical) of OEM service manuals that will go with the truck. Pound for pound it runs better than my supercharged tacoma. Depending on your elevation you may need to tune the carb but it runs flawless here in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. I have been driving the truck everyday for the last two months to make sure all is well before I let her got and here is a list of what she needs:

1. Dash pad replaced ( I have one that is in much better shape the correct color but it has a small crack but has all the registers)

Temperature gauge doesn't work. (Everything else works)

Electric Choke needs to be connected

Rear view mirror needs to be install. I have a new one in the box

Needs a new owner that will drive and enjoy her
