1970 Pontiac Firebird

I bought this vehicle from the original Owner. It now has 63k original Miles on it- no odometer rollover. The overall restoration stayed true to the original in all aspects except for performance. It still has the original PMD- built 350 cuid motor, but with the following improvements: Intake manifold, 2bbl rochester carb exchanged for edelbrock 650, and has a corvette air breather. Holly Hooker Blackheart headers replaced the exhaust manifolds, and the exhaust pipes and muffler were upgraded and are new singe 2015. A Mallory Performance Distributor, new coil, High performance starter, plugs and wires mean an entirely new 'Spark' system.The suspension is freshened up with Aldan American front coilover shocks up front and new 'stock height' leaf springs and shackles in the rear. New Alternator. New Battery.
Runs very strong and shifts smooth. I would jump in it now and drive across the country- considering it is a 53 year old antique it is running good enough to be a reliable daily driver.
RUST- none that I have seen. It has been garage kept.Body lines - straight-Paint- still excellent- though slight bubbling in a spot. Not embarrassing or very noticeable.
