Description:

1962 Chevrolet C-10 Original Paint Patina

Up for auction is my 1962 Chevrolet C-10 Step Side Short Bed "Knee Knocker" Northern California truck. Solid Survivor. Georgian Gray Patina! 235 cubic inch mated to a 4 speed transmission with compound low (Granny Gear) I drive this ol Chevy truck almost everyday! Reliable, turn key, get in and go! Original paint from the cab (firewall back). At some point back in the late 70's the front hood and fenders as well as the grill were replaced. Again, runs great and shifts great. I have recently replaced all brakes, including shoes, wheel cylinders, repacked wheel bearings, soft brake lines. Newer battery. New distributor, tuneup, cap, points, rotor, wires, and spark plugs. New fuel pump and fuel line. tires have maybe 500 miles on them. Does not overheat and still has great oil pressure. Sounds good with a new Smithy's exhaust muffler. The truck is awesome, and does get the conversation going. Doors open and close with ease as does the window roll up and down effortlessly. All lights, work as does turn signals, wipers, and even the heater! I have driven this '62 Chevrolet C-10 "Knee Knocker" for several years and she has never stranded me. Sold brand new at '49er Chevrolet in Angels Camp, California where the '62 spent it's entire life until 2020 when I brought it to the Sierra Foothills only 2 hours away. This is a extremely cool truck that definitely gets the thumbs up I'm out in the '62! Please ask any and all questions you may have, and I will be happy to answer them.
