1956 Volkswagen Beetle “Oval Window” these are the best looking beetles! This one has only 63,000 original miles on it and it wears one of the coolest color combinations of Diamond Green Metallic which is both gold and green depending on the light, the interior is Green vinyl.This car is a survivor, the last owner had it since the mid 70s, he was a VW collector. This car retains its original interior and exterior trim brightwork. Aside from one or two parts everything is original German parts. a strong 36hp engine and “crash box” transmission. 6v electric system. Original front hood with 4 tab VW emblem, it is not creased from the hood prop! The pan is original to the car - VIN numbers on the body and pan match each other and the California title. No rust - you can see clearly that the battery pan section is not rusted and original never repaired which surely proves the rust condition vs all the others.Steering wheel restored by Koch. New brakes installed recently. Fuel system serviced with fuel tank flush and coated. Registered in California on Yellow and Black 1956 plates CSH076. Original Bosch vacuum distributor included. Original lights. Original hoods and doors. 3 original fenders - one of the rear has been changed out.I’m a long time Porsche collector.
