This auction is for a 1956 Ford Thunderbird Roadster. Has the original 312 V-8, 4 BBL, Automatic Transmission. No Powe steering or power brakes but steers very easily and stops great. All the brakes are new, tires are new, new dual exhaust system, rebuilt transmission, new fuel pump, radiator hoses, complete tune up, rebuilt the carb. Had the same owner since 1992 but he recently passed away. A number of years ago the prior owner had some body work done to the car. Front fenders were replaced with fiberglass ones as the metal ones were not available then. Had some repair work done down by the rockers in front of the fender skirts. There was a couple of metal patches in both front toe boards which is still there and can be easily cleaned up or leave it as is. Other parts of the floor are a combination of sheet metal repair and some of the original floor. Solid but older repair job. Frame and rest of the undercarriage is good and solid. For the most part the car runs well and drives decent and is a good entry level car. Has both porthole hard top and new soft top behind the seat. A few things that need addressing, speedometer does not work and the tach. Heater blower motor works but the controls are not hooked up. Engine code is ECZ-6015A. Over all, a good driver car. We have a clear title and a lot of the previous registrations. Also have owners manual. We require a $1000 non refundable deposit at close of auction and balance to be paid within (3) days of auctions end. If you need time to get a shipper, we will take care of the car here as long as it is paid for in advance. We reserve the right to end the auction early as we have it on our lot for sale.
