Description:

1972 Porsche 911 Coupe T

Purpose built 911 race car ROLLER NO motor or gearbox comes with this car This 1972 911 available for sale in final stages of completion for Vintage racing. All parts are new unless otherwise noted/ Tub is rust free solid donor car, well thought out build to provide good service and reliable competitive performance on track in whatever class its completed for entering.
Tub is suitable for return to street restoration but title will have to be obtained in your state as per inspection and history determination. I do not have a title for street use. Purchased 15 years ago in Tampa Fl as a barely just begun race car build from a pro shop. VIN available to serious buyers for research before purchasing obviously with any future street intentions for the car. Listing highlights of car below....if interested and you don't understand some of the items listed...please email for more info or ask your race shop for review. If you're new to racing...this car will need a motor, gearbox, numerous small parts and supplies, and a week or two in a competent race shop to complete and go racing. Will consider completing this car for proper buyer and deliver to track of choice on East coast of USA for final set up and testing.
Tub was media blasted, removed all undercoat and painted in "lemon ice" urethane. Jack points welded on. Roll cage is solid, gusseted, knee bar and does NOT route to suspension pick up points. Welded tower bar across front strut towers. RSR oil cooler in front, ducted, defrost air powered from oil cooler for rain and night racingBody is GT Racing supplied, doors, wings, hood, bumpers, ducktail....Mixture of S, RS components in style. Very lightweight. Lexan rear glass, need front (true) glass and rubber. No side windows required, need quarter windows.RSR suspension, raised spindles, sway bars. larger front torsion, uniballs, drop links, rebuilt rack Bilstein, Weltmeister, OEM RSR oil cooler, System One filtration, 16 qt oil tan, all proper Aeroquip braided stainless lines, AN fittings throughout, rear welded steel SC flares. Doors are d (painted already, need latches and hinges) Ducktail and bumpers need painted still. Bumpers are RSR front and RS rear. As said, all parts are fiberglass from GT Racing. New wiring, New lines and fittings SS, 930 brakes. (Porsche OEM calipers and rotors) Optimum gauges, switches and safety components. Halo seat frame Safecraft belts (dated but new) safequip netting, lightweight battery mounting, proper fire system (charged), etc. See pictures for additional details please.Well thought out overall build, easy to maintain and fix as needed.
Attaching detailed pictures of oil system, fire system, safety, suspension etc. Please look carefully and see details. Please email with any questions or wanting more detail. To replicate this car, as it sits at current asking price is not possible.
Tried to show areas that are important for a buyer or one wanting to race Sorry, no pictures by the beach or in a grassy field from 30 feet away. A 911 is....a 911 of this period. trust me, with doors on, bumpers on and the tail....it will look like a 911.
Right to end auction at any time as I am selling locally and also have mentioned to a few race shops for interest and offer to their customers prior to this listing.
I will separate the tub from all the parts..... if someone is in need of an excellent straight tub for sections or parts in a restoration. Restorer must remove cage to their satisfaction. Tub price (tubalone plus cage, minus all bolt on parts) $12,500.
If tub sells (stand alone)....then yes...I will sell all removed items. Part the balance of car out. Thanks very much for looking at my car for sale!
