1972 Chevrolet Blazer CST Custom Sport Truck

1972 Chevrolet CST Blazer

This Southern California Solid 1972 Chevrolet CST Blazer was Sold New at Courtesy Chevrolet in San Diego, California (Still Retains the Original License Plate Frame) and has Remained in Southern California Since New.

This Factory Blazer CST (Custom Sport Truck) has a Healthy Running V8 350 Cubic Inch Small Block Engine Running Through Flowmaster Mufflers. It was Just Tuned Less Than 650 Miles Ago. It Sports Headers, a RV Camshaft, an Edelbrock Carburetor, a Newer Water Pump, and a Rebuilt Alternator. The Factory AC Components (Except the AC Compressor and Mounting Bracket) are Still Present Under the Hood, So Enjoying Air Conditioning in This K5 is not Far Off. The 4 Speed Granny Low Muncie 4 Speed Shifts Great, and has a Tall Gear 4th Gear For Freeway/ Highway Driving. The 4x4 System Engages Works and as It Should.

The Body is Southern California Solid. The Rockers, Door Sills, Patches on the Doors, Spots on the Front Quarters, and the Top Patched From a Previous "Stargazing Hole" Have Already Been Repaired. As the Pictures Show, 90% Of the Paint Looks to Be Factory Original and Has Patina Consistent to the Overall Body (Not a Cheap, New Paint Job To Hide Tons of Body Filler and Rust). In 1984, While Camping During a Storm, an 8 Inch Branch Broke Off a Tree and Landed on the Hood and 2 Front Fenders (As the Engine Pictures Show, It Did Not Damage the Inner Fenders or Effect Any Under the Hood Parts). Although the Tree's Damage to the Hood and Fenders Can Easily Be Hammered Out By a Body/Fender Man, the Truck's Overall Character/ Patina Would Be Lost.

If the the Buyer Chooses, I Can Supply a Replacement Hood and Fenders.

A 3 Inch Suspension Lift Using Soft Ride Springs Gives This K5 a Tough, But Safe Ride Height. The Custom 15 Inch Aluminum Star Wheels Have 33/12.5/15 Mud Terrain Tires Mounted On Them. 85% of the Tread Remains, Measuring 10/32nds of Tread Depth.

I Have Personally Driven This Reliable 1972 K5 on a 223 Mile Road Trip With No Problems. If I Were to Make This K5 an Overall, Comfortable Everyday/ Weekend Fun 4x4 Out of This Great Platform, I Would Address the Gauge Cluster (Speedometer, Gas, Etc. Do Not Work). The Aftermarket Bosch Tach Works, and Hook Up the Air Conditioning. This CST K5 Then Can Be Enjoyed Throughout the Year, No Matter the Weather.

For the Buy It Now Price of $12,495, I Will Also Include Factory Blazer K5 Front Low Back Bucket Seats, and a Factory Blazer K5 Rear Bench Seat (See Last 2 Pictures). If You Are Considering Purchasing a Classic 4x4 SUV, Fun Weekend K5 Full Convertible, or a Father/ Son 4x4, Not Considering This Great California Solid Example Would Be a Missed Opportunity.
