1968 Triumph Spitfire

1968 Triumph Spitfire. Absolutely stunning Spitfire. You would be hard pressed to find one as nice as this. Gets tons of compliments where ever I go. Almost every nut and bolt was replaced in a 2009 ground up restoration that was done by a professional in Pasadena. The color is Corvette red. Starts right up every time. Great compression and oil pressure. Wheel studs upgraded to larger size all around. 14 inch wheels on Pansport type mags. Custom made carpet. Fits like a glove. The interior is fantastic. Black leather seats with red piping. Comes with all the documentation of the restoration. Comes with a cover. Always garaged and never ever driven in the rain. The top is not attached. I have a brand new top in the box. The top frame will require cleaning up and painting. I've owned the car since around 2012 and it's been a real joy to drive and own. I don't use it anymore because I bought a 59 TR3 a year ago. The down side. It does grind a little when up shifting from 3rd to 2nd. I do have another transmission that is good and that will come with it. It also leaks a little oil. If a Triumph doesn't leak oil, that means it's out of oil. Write to me if you have any questions.
