Description:

1988 Toyota Celica GT

This 1988 Toyota Celica Convertible GT is a classic car that will turn heads wherever you go. With its sleek white exterior and gray interior, it's sure to be a standout in any crowd. It has four seats and two doors, perfect for a weekend getaway with friends or a romantic drive with your significant other. The car has been well-maintained with partial service history available, and has been independently inspected for your peace of mind. This Celica GT features a 2.0L Gas I4 engine and manual transmission, making for a fun and sporty driving experience. It also comes with a variety of features, including power windows, air conditioning, cruise control, power locks, cloth seats, top sound system, tilt steering wheel, and power steering. This car (Daisy) was a project for me during covid. When I got it, it had been setting for about 10 years undercover. It was very dirty and the paint in bad shape. The body was perfectly straight and no rust. The interior only needed a lot of cleaning, a new boot and the driver side seat repaired. The top was rotten. I have since removed everything inside, replaced the sound barrier, cleaned and reinstalled everything. I had it painted and a new top put on it. The pump for the top was rebuilt and it has new heavy duty cylinders. New tires and battery, Muffler and pipe, blower motor resistor, radiator, oxygen sensor, fuel filter, distributor, cap and wires and spark plugs, starter, power steering pump, valve cover gaskets, hoses, brakes, alignment, Kenwood Bluetooth Stereo and speakers. I have the original stereo. other misc stuff has been done.It runs strong even with the miles it has.The stuff that I haven't done.Timing chain cover leaks a little, I was told timing chain was changed before I bought it.If you know anything about these cars, then you know the heaters and switches are very finicky. The heater did work. The AC has been tested and may just need a charge. At this time the switches all work.I'm into it for about 10K, I'm asking $7500. I have other videos I can send.I need to buy a new daily driver. Mine is 11 years old.
