RARE, TURBO-CHARGED TRANS AM!!!!!

1981 Pontiac Trans Am

Here's a great opportunity to bid on a very solid "RARE" 1981 TURBO-CHARGED V8 TRANS AM. It is mostly complete, minor parts are missing, but easy to get; the original wheels were replaced by vintage aluminum Centerlines, car comes with all four(4). The engine was being disassembled by a previous owner, not sure if the turbo went out or they wanted to rebuild the drive train, but never got around to do it. The car speedometer marks 71, 064 miles, they maybe original miles! This baby would be a great candidate for a BANDIT Pro Touring project, a great Burt Reynolds" tribute. It just needs needs a beefy LS engine/ 6 speed tranny, competition suspension or clip and the right honey comb 18-19 inch wheels OR for those Pontiac purest who would like to easily restore a 1981 Turbo Trans Am (with T-TOPS). Regardless, this car has very little rust issues, NOT like most projects come with; the floors are perfect, wheel wells/panels are super clean, and the doors/fenders just need some massaging to be perfect, the only rust I can see is a few little spots around the T-Tops(very small and easy to fix), hood may need to be replaced for it to be perfect. The paint seems to be the original, but needs to be redone, interior is all there, but needs to be redone/restored.
