The cars were sold when new to entusiasts from many Pontiac Dealers across the United States. Along with Trans Am's, Mecham/DKM built 1 Prototype Macho Z in 1978 and 7 in 1979. This car is the last one built and the only one retaining low original, miles, original paint, interior, engine, drivetrain....everything down to origianl tires.
