What we have here is a 1956 Buick Century 2 dr, a 2 owner automobile with only 26910 original miles. Purchased new by a Libby Owens Ford Executive and sold to the second owner November 8, 1997. Lots of documentation from brand new including original title.

There was a color change on this Buick sometime with the first owner before November 8, 1997 as that's when the second owner purchased the Buick. The Buick was painted all black along with inside door,hood and trunk jambs.As shown the paint has faded over the years.The body is very straight and not all beat up.
The interior is still all original. Front seat is torn, rear seat shows well with sun fading at the top. Door panels need work, carpeting is worn on driver's side with a rust hole where the driver's feet would be. Dash is good and all chrome is good on dash with slight pitting. Steering wheel has no cracks. Also, seat belts were installed years ago. All dash lights work on this beautiful dash.
The engine is a 8 cylinder 322 cubic inch/255 horse power 4 barrel complimented with the automatic transmission. Engine performs very well and very quiet and sounds great. Transmission was rebuilt approximately 20 years ago.
Recent servicing was a complete oil change, new cannister oil filter and cleaned out cannister. Carburetor was rebuilt and Buick starts right up and the idle is smooth. Brakes and some brake lines were done in 1999 and the car stops well. Tires have been replaced 11/2013 at 26448 miles. Lots of mechanical work has been done over the years to keep all mechanicals working fine with no expense spared.
The under carriage is very solid again with the exception of drivers floor area. There also is a small rust hold back side left quarter panel wheel well opening. The front suspension all appears to be very solid and tight. The underbody and body is very good with the exception of the two small rust areas and minor surface rust.
In summary, what a great opportunity to own a 1956 Buick Century 2 dr with only 26910 miles with lots of documentation of the history of this automobile. A 68 year old automobile with endless possibilities especially for the restorer that wants a very solid low mileage automobile.
