For your consideration, a 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 XL Bought from the 2nd owner.
Condition:Body- Excellent. No Rust.Paint- Wimbledon White Good ( some minor chips, Scratches, Touch-up)Interior: Excellent and all original. Some minor fading of carpet in some areas.Engine: 352 V8 Recently tuned up, Strong and Clean. Does have aftermarket Ice Cold A/C
What I know:Originally Purchased in Michigan, and brought to AZ immediately. Still has original 1965 AZ plate so can be considered an AZ Car. Miles are original. Mechanic I take it to is amazed at how clean the car is. I have had it for about 2 years now. Aftermarket accessories include an LED display Temp gauge and Tach.
What I've added:Knock-off 65 Mustang Rally Wheels, Aftermarket Factory look Stereo with Bluetooth, Sub and Amp, LED Headlamps, New Holly Carburetor, Heater Core, Flex fan. and aftermarket Air Cleaner. (Still have orginal air cleaner with 352 Logo)
What it needs:Adjustment of the auto choke of the recently added New Holly Carb. A little cold blooded at start-up That's it!
Conclusion: Probably nicest 65 500XL's around in my opinion. Vehicle is amazingly clean, solid and strong. Car is a real head-turner and deserves a good home with the right enthusiast. I just don't get out and drive her as often as I should. Any additional questions, please feel free to ask.
