1980 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Vanagon
Owned 30 years. Bought as a project. Two big boxes of parts. Been parked outside most of it's life. It would take a lot to get it to a 'Van Life' standard; has new rear wheel cylinders but the brakes overall are inadequate and would need an upgrade. Missing the fridge .Fuel tank is new but leaks from the cross over tube, engine needs a new coil and has many many new parts but hasn't been on the road for ten years. The starter grinds, has zero heat, cabinets aren't bolted down, needs new tires due to significant weather checking. No interior panels. Windshield is cracked.
The front seats are nice and have swivels, automatic transmission works, Pop top is a solid 7 out of 10, Brand new muffler, good battery. New GoWesty hook ups, new Bosch fuel pump, upgraded fuel filter and lines.The body has some bondo, rust, repair panels. The paint is old and chalky.
