Description:

1970 Pontiac GTO The Judge

This car is a TRUE 1970 GTO JUDGE documented by PHS (Pontiac Historical Services) including invoice, build sheet, and vital info on this car. It was sold originally by Brownell Pontiac in Birmingham, AL and has spent its entire life in the B'ham area.....It is a 1970 GTO "the Judge" finished in Cardinal Red, Red interior, and Sandalwood top (off-white/cream). This is possibly one the only red GTOs or Judges with a Sandalwood top (invoice shows this combo). It is a RAM AIR III 400 engine w/a Muncie M20 4spd and Hurst competition shifter with T-Handle (factory setup). Engine now is a 1978 Trans Am 400 with 6X heads. It has the original Ram Air Hood w/flaps controlled by Ram Air pull knob in dash. Has Hood Tach, power steering, power brakes (originally 4 wheel drum, nor front discs), Center Console, Bucket Seats, and Manual Windows. Dual Exhaust with splitters. Have reproduction manuals and guides. This car has extensive RUST in body, especially roof and rear areas. You could rebody this or replacement sections/panels (1970-72 Tempest/LeMans/GTO 2dr hardtops all the same from firewall back). It is not running, will need rebuild or swap.... It will cost some bucks, but is a high dollar machine when finished. The Judge was only produced in 1969-1971 in limited numbers. No Titles in Alabama pre-'75, sold with bill of sale only. Most title States have ways to deal with this. Check your state's requirements. Buyer is responsible for pickup/transportation. I can hold vehicle for a limited time. Contact me for length of hold time needed. I try to be honest and thorough in my descriptions and want potential buyers to know all highlights, good and bad. I will try to answer any questions asap. I will only accept bids from members with minimum 10 feedbacks and 90% and above approval. Read description thoroughly! This car needs complete restoration. If this is not for you, please DO NOT bid. Thanks and good luck.
