1963 VW/EMPI Buggy

1600cc GEX Remanufactured Engine, never run/started on vehicle, EMPI tach on the hood, fiberglass body.

Does not run and will need service and completion of various components, primarily electrical/wiring, CV boot replacement and safety restraints (seats setup with 5 point racing belts, although anchor points need to be established). All parts needed are assembled and on the vehicle.

New front beam, Beard racing seats, cutting brakes, disk brakes, tires/wheels, HD transmission brace, many other new parts.

Paint (Doom Buggy theme) was new several years ago, although has been scratched/scuffed in a couple spots from being in the way while storing in the shop.

Started the restoration 12+ years ago, did not finish, moving on to other projects. So the parts are new, but some surface patina/rust is showing its age on select parts. I wanted to build an off-road tribute vehicle, so the front tires may need to be replaced once up and running, as Im not sure how the suspension and turning clearance would be impacted by current tire size (235/75R15 w/5 lug adapter).

As I understand it, these vehicles used a donor VW chassis and were cut down to fit the aftermarket fiberglass body. Title (FL) has an ID number 5456618, the chassis/inside of tub was sprayed with bed liner so I could not confirm. The ID is supposed to be stamped into the top of the rear tunnel area, so may need to be re-registered? Just want to ensure buyer is informed, reminder does not run in current condition, bring a trailer.
