Available for auction is this beautiful 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer!! This first generation K5 has had a recent frame on restoration and it turned out amazing as you can see by the pics! Only one repaint back to its original medium bronze and added the white below the trim line to break it up a bit as well as match the top and seats. The paint turned out amazing! Base/Clear paint . The body is rock solid and very straight! The only metal that was replaced were the outer rocker panels. The rocker boxes, A&B pillers, floors, windshield frame, firewall ect are all rock solid. All new trim, door handles, emblems, mirrors, bumpers, grill have been replaced with new . New windshield and gasket with CST trim. New CST wing windows. All new weather stripping. The doors close like new! Very nice original parchment saddle scroll interior with console, original very nice parchment seat belts, new floor mat, Chrome tilt column with Rosewood steering wheel, Dakota dash cluster with tach, uncut dash with Retro sounds stereo with Bluetooth, Satellite radio and custom kick panel pods with speakers. Fresh 383/400hp stroker motor with aluminum heads, Edelbrock intake, comp cam. Roller rockers, forged pistons, Edelbrock Performer air gap intak, Holley Sniper fuel injection, MSD ignitio, billet pulleys,high output alternator, aluminum water pump, aluminum radiator with electric fans, Headman headers with custom dual exhaust with electric cut outs and Flowmaster mufflers. Built 700R4 transmission with overdrive. Rebuilt suspension with new springs, front end parts, brakes, shocks, Borgesian quick ratio steering box. Factory differentials have had new bearings and been re sealed. They have 3.73 gearing. New fuel tank and fuel system. Hidden tow receiver if you wanna tow your boat to the lake with the family and or friends and more!! Comes with a very nice white single wall top and hatch. Sits on 15x8 restored rally wheels with new 33/12.5/15 BFG All Terrain KM2 tires!! Turn key fun! If you are looking for a solid first generation K5 that is reliable well sorted and drives as good as it looks you might want to check this one out. If you have been in the market for a 69 through 72 K5 you already know that these classic 4wd's have sky rocketed in value over the past 6yrs or so.
