Inspired by Wally Troy’s original 1959 roadster, the Troy Indy Special takes the design to new heights with a modern tubular chassis and inboard coilover suspension for improved performance and driver comfort. Add in the proven performance and reliability of Chevrolet’s LS3 engine, and you’ve got contemporary sports car drivability in the footprint of a classic Indy racer. With a six-speed manual transmission and minimal electronic interferences, the new Troy Indy Special is a thrilling next chapter, executed just as Wally Troy would have.
Wearing an infinitely thick coat of Jet Black paint with a truly unique two-tone leather interior, PD-007 is one of our favorite Indy Specials completed to date. Strip the body off and it gets even better, because this example features our house favorite Bronze Chrome powder coating on the chassis and deep black coating on the suspension components. PD-007 has 1,000 miles on the odometer from event use and turns heads everywhere it goes.
