Description:
1982 Lincoln Continental Bill Blass
1982 Lincoln Mark VI Bill Blass Designer Series. This is a true survivor, original paint (header panel has been repainted), un-restored and in fantastic condition. Never and rust of rot, life long FL car, (until I purchased it this winter) garaged and carefully maintained. No attempt has been made to "doll" the car up. There are no touch ups or fancy detailing products, it just is still this nice. Undercarriage is immaculate, never even any scaling or real surface rust. Top is excellent, interior is exc, dash has no cracks, carpets are clean and not worn, no odors or any evidence of having been smoked in. One minor split in drivers door panel (can not be seen in pictures, too fine), only items not functional are the information center display, and the power window switch is loose. Also speakers are not great.Only 78k actual miles and the car runs and drive exc. No rattles, clunks, smoke or noises.
This car should qualify for preservation/survivor class shows, as only maintenance items such as tires, belts, tune up parts and hoses have been changed. I cannot imagine there are many left in this condition.
I purchased this Mark VI in FL and shipped it to my lake home in Maine where it is currently garaged. After 4 months of no income, reluctantly I have decided to sell this beauty. I can bring the car to my business in MA. just outside of Boston (Wakefield, MA. 01880) for shipping, as it will much less costly than shipping it from Maine.
