For sale is a 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback. This is a Bullitt tribute car, and an authentic C code fastback, not a conversion. It is a nice Sunday driver. It runs and drives great. Both the VIN on the fender and on the door are present. Marti report in photos.
Exterior: the paint job on the car is Highland Green Metallic. It is a nice driver paint job that shows its age in subtle ways. But it shines really nice and is a nice flat paint job. The chrome is in great shape, a lot of it is new. All The glass is in excellent condition. The wheels are in great shape, no pitting or corrosion on them. Tires are brand new, purchased and installed 2024. The chassis is solid. Frame rails are solid. Torque boxes are solid. Floor pans are solid. The passenger front pan has been patched. The cowl is solid, no leaks. Floor supports are nice and not dented at all.
INTERIOR: the interior is beautiful on this car. Most of it is new. All the padding and upholstery on the front and the rear seats is new. Carpet is new. Headliner new. Vent grille chrome new. New door handles. New radio bezel. New steeeing wheel. New dash pad. New wood grain dash. All interior lights work. Dash lights work. Turn signals work. Headlights work. Only issue is radio, it looks brand new but isn’t hooked up.
DRIVETRAIN: The car has a 302 backed by a C4 auto transmission. Definitely an older engine, though it runs great. New battery. The engine has all new fuel system components, including new fuel pump, new edlebrock 1406 carburetor, new fuel tank, new fuel sensing unit. It has long tube headed and all new exhaust. It has a ford 9 inch rear end. Front disc brakes. Fires right up and runs and drives great. Shifts perfect. Stops well.
