Up for sale is a nice custom. Yes Custom 1951 Ford two door sedan. Beautiful body work by long time hot rod body guy that has done many other customs in his career. Paint is show quality with only one small chip on the door edge. (Please look at pictures closely) It has Frenched Head lights, Frenched taillights and it has been decked and shaved. All bright work has been re-chromed grill, bumpers and all stainless polished. It is running a Ford 289 V8 with C-4 Automatic Transmission. It also has an aluminum radiator to keep it cool, newer 12 Volt battery, new alternator and new exhaust all the way out the back. (Sounds good too) It starts easy and runs very nice and drives nice also. Paint and body work is newer, but the interior could use a updated. It does have a new headliner, new carpeting and new door sill plates, but the seats are older and are showing some age. The dash is its original with its original radio, controls and bright work but the radio doesn't work, and the dash also is showing some ageing. The heater has just been replaced and works well. The interior would look great done in tuck and roll to match the custom body work like in the 50's. The underside of the car has heavy undercoating from new that was applied by a dealer and the floor panes look good, but as of yet, it hasn't been cleaned up after the paint work was finished. Also, there is some light rust on the inner rocker paleal on the underside of the body (The underside needs detailed) All windows roll up and down nicely and have no chips or cracks. This little Ford comes with a set of fender skirts and a car cover. The speedometer is showing 56,452 miles but only about 2000 miles have been put on the car after the body work, paint and engine swap were finished. I'm listing this nice Custom for a friend and will take all questions to him. He is getting a little older and doesn't drive the car anymore. Buyer is responsible for shipping and all shipping costs.
