1929 Ford Model AA Express

Vehicle Details

Lower Reserve Price For sale is one of the rarest Model a Fords out there. A 1929 AA Ford Express Truck. I have owned this truck forover 10 years. I've got too many projects and I have an early 1930 AA express ( see 2 pics) already restored and reluctantly I have decided to sell the 29 express. It runs very good. The engine runs cool. I have never had one run so cool. The cab is pretty good. Some rust out on one side of the cowl and on the back side of the cab. The person that had it before me started working on the cab and put it in primer. I restored my early 1930 and learned a lot about the express trucks. So when I got this 1929 I had a good idea what was needed to make it complete and right. Most all of the mounting hardware for the bed is original. The rear fenders are correct. One is in fair shape and one is NOS. Tires are nice. (A couple weather checks). They were all new. The rears (650-20) were new when I got it then I purchase 2 new (600-20) for the fronts. All Firestone's. The rear end is a high speed. The bed is not perfect. It has some extra holes and some dents that will need repair. There is some rust out around the wheel wells and below. The bed will need some work but it is very restorable. This is actually a model AA truck bed not a TT that some people think is an AA. It still has the original wood in it. The short pockets above the fenders have been cut but I have 2 pockets that I will send along for repair. Underneath the bed one of the cross rails will need replacing and I will send the replacement along also. I replaced the front panel with a brand new one. It fit like a glove. It has a body mounted spare tire carrier but the frame mount bracket is bolted to the frame and the hole for the arm is through the splash shield. (I do not have an arm) so I used the body mount for now. I think this would be a great project for someone and when it is done you will have something Awesome. Vin number is off the clear Minnesota Title.
