Description:

1970 Dodge Challenger

You're bidding on an all-original, numbers-matching, unmolested 1970 Challenger. 318 V8 with air conditioning.Ice blue metallic with white vinyl roof. Blue interior. Automatic. Has been painted once before.
I purchased this car in Colorado about 10 years ago as part of an estate sale. It's been stored in my garage since its arrival. The Colorado title is original and clear. The build sheet was preserved and laminated by the original owner. I have the body tag with all numbers in a baggie. Trim codes are H6, B5. Body paint is EB3.
Keen Moparaficionados will not only enjoy that it spent its life in a dry, rust-free environment, but more importantly, that every Chrysler nut-and-bolt is there. You can see this by the OEM Rally wheels, the emblems in the correct places, the chrome trim around the wheels, and even the original stickers in the engine compartment. A peek in the trunk shows the mounted tire jack actually where it should be. The only aftermarket part is the FM radio.
The stickers on the windshield hints that the car was several times at the MoParty at the Strip (Las Vegas). Makes sense because the dashboard is completely dried out--the truest sign of a Western car. Neither the body nor the frame show any rust; the car is completely dry and solid. The absolute only part the car needs is a new power steering pump.
I purchased this car because a friend of mine had one in high school: I always envied it. I had hopes to restore it in retirement, but it seems a good time to part with it. Besides, in all honesty, my skills wouldn't give this car justice. It's too valuable for me to ruin...and it belongs in the hands of a true collector or a professional restorer. I am neither.
Terms: no trades. $500 deposit due within 72 hours of sale. Balance due at the time of pick-up. Wire payment is acceptable. All checks must clear my credit union before the car is released. Car is running and functionable, so it can be driven onto a flat bed. I can e-mail a video of it running, if you wish. Happy to work with your transporter for easy pick-up.
