Description:

1973 Chevrolet Corvette 454

With less time to play with my projects lately, I've decided to put up my vette. The 73 being the last year of the rear Chrome Bumper and the second to last year for the big block (454), this is a great car to have!
This is a #'s matching (both Engine Block and Transmission) 1973 454 Corvette. The original external color is Yellow and it has a black factory interior. This car has the factory automatic, tilt and telescopic steering, power doors locks/windows (both still working), is originally a factory AC car (no compressor now), and does have Big Block Headers installed. The wheels are Tru Ray Spokes, but do need some resto/refinishing done.
There is no major rust on the car itself, the. birdcage is solid, bumper is not majorly pitted or scuffed and the frame itself shows nothing beyond any notable surface rust. The frame is straight and shows no indication of having been in any wrecks; the front body work that you see in the pictures resulted from someone backing into it while it was parked (the fiberglass front clip was replaced rather than a patch job it appears), so no frame damage or major reconstruction in its 40+ years of life.

COMPLETED:
I have already rebuilt the Quadrajet, replaced the gas tank, the calipers, ignition switch, optima yellow top battery, and starter (high torque mini starter) to get things freshened up.
IN-PROGRESS:
Seats and some of the interior trim have been pulled out to clean up and install head/sound mats (not yet purchased). A Summitt RTR HEI Distributor and Coil have been swapped and the original points distributor stored in a box (this still needs the power wires run to it and timing set to complete the project)
KNOWN ITEMS TO ACHIEVE ROAD WORTHINESS:
Distributor needs to be wired/set; Brakes and Master cylinder need to be bled; Front struts/shocks bolted; minor drip from radiator or hose to be sealed; seats and trim reinstalled; wiper motor replaced/repaired; horn wiring; new tires
COSMETIC:
Front bumper cover; wheels; paint; freshen up interior
ENGINE RUNNING STATUS:
The car DOES crank and move under its own power. That said, the new distributor and coil are wired back in and will need timing set, until then the car will not crank and will need manual assistance to get it loaded onto a trailer.
TITLE:
**This car was purchased in 2015 as a California car that had been off the road for a few years. The owner did not provide the original printed title at the time of sale and as such it purchased with a bill of sale. The car has been verified as not stolen and is clear of any liens with the previous owner. If your state does not accept Bill of Sale for titles(Texas does not), the buyer will be required to obtain a bonded title from your state. (For Texas I know that after the 3 year period they will issue a clear blue standard Texas title). If you don't understand what a bonded title is or how you do this in your state, look it up in advance - it is NOT a salvage, or lien, or any otherpermanently negative branded title - a bonded title DOES transition into a clear normal title at the end of the bonded period so there is no fear of losing any collectible value in the long term.
