Description:

1947 Willys CJ-2A

California Willys painstakingly restored to original glory! Body on frame restoration down to bare metal. Frame painted black and Body painted as reproduction Luzon Red. Below I will paste a full list of parts installed/replaced. Vehicle has been in Denver since August 2015 and was driven before being "wintered" in dry storage with full cover. Vehicle starts, stops, and runs well after being warmed up (it's over 70 years old!)
Condition/Modifications:- Hood and windshield frame have minor paint chip/damage. Can easily be fixed.- Body has minor paint chips.- Kick ignition switch disabled. I have modified the vehicle to start with a turn-key ignition (existing ignition switch wired with Mustang coil).- Reproduction seat pads included but not installed (not screwed into seat frames).- Added steel side-steps, painted to match frame.- Has Sand Grabber tires (original wheels and tires not included but available from Walck's or Kaiser).- Added front and rear lap seat belts.- Two rear tail lights, electrical modified for turn signals using front indicator lights and rear brake lights. Available as left-turn, right-turn, and hazard.- Converted electrical from 6-volt to modern 12-volt
Replaced:New windshield frame, steering wheel, spark plugs, plug rain shields, distributor, belts, headlights & bezels, Brakes (including master cylinder and hoses), new wheel cylinders, engine gaskets, weatherseals, water pump, shifter boots (leather), data plates, tool box lid, tail gate chains.
Vehicle is sold as is, with no warranty, and with clear California title. Vehicle is currently registered and plated with "operating" status in California. I have California-issued 1950 reproduction license plates on the vehicle.
