Vehicle Details

Relatively low mileage car in very nice shape. 4 speed manual with smooth functioning overdrive. Engine starts immediately. Compression numbers 150 in every cylinder...yes they all match. Recent new suspension bushings and tires. Drives great except rarely will pop out of 3rd gear going downhill. Easily put back in. Brakes are perfect with plenty of pad life remaining. Speedometer can sometimes be slow returning to zero. Other instruments including clock work. Electric antenna. Car originally had factory A/C and components are there except for the compressor, although I'm sure it would take more than that to get the A/C functioning again. Comes also with the 5 original steel wheels although they are unfinished. No spare tire at present. Jack is present. Some pitting of tail light chrome. Some minor scratching of bumpers, but brightwork in general very good. There are also some tiny dents in the stainless trim around the side windows. Upholstery in surprisingly good shape, although there is a tiny burn mark on one of the rear seats. Headliner very good. Carpets original, but look good except for a few mild wear areas. Glass excellent except for very slight milky changes lower corners of windshield. One mild warning if you have never driven one of these, the steering takes some muscle at parking lot speeds, despite the large steering wheel. Once you get rolling it's fine. The chrome spears along the flanks of the car are not the originals. Those were mounted with metal clips in holes drilled in the steel body which was a source of multiple rust issues. The holes were not closed, but all rust removed and the holes epoxy primed and painted. The chrome are now adhesive strips that are the correct size and profile as the originals, but should cause no future rust problems.
