Finished in charcoal grey over grey and black, this thirty year-old 99.9% rust-free California classic shows just over 112,800 miles on its working six-digit odometer. It sports a smooth running four-cylinder engine mated to the factory automatic transmission, factory stereo, air conditioning, reclining cloth bucket seats and manual windows.It is being sold with original keys and clean and clear California title!

THE BODY AND TRIM
The exterior of this classic Volvo is in good, presentable "driver-quality" condition overall with some blotchiness to the re-paint. The left side taillight is cracked and faded and there are typical nicks, scratches and other light cosmetic blemishes on this near -perfectly rust-free 240DL.

THE INTERIOR
As I hope is articulated in the photos here, the interior of this 1988 Volvo is in quite nice very original condition with highlights being near flawless crack-free dash, working odometer and most all other gauges with original seat upholstery, door panels and headliner which show some expected wear. The temp gauges is intermittent, the a/c is not currently blowing cold and the stereo reception is a bit weak.Overall this is still one cool vintage cockpit!

THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE
This 1988 240DL starts well with a good runningengine free of any smoking. With barely triple-digit horsepower, this old girl will certainly not keep up with an R type but it runs and shifts smoothly with solid braking and straight tracking down the highway with excellent visibility and comfortable seats. It is a nice safe car for a first-time driver or commuter.
