You’re looking at a 1974 Volkswagen KOMBI Luxury.
It was manufactured in Brazil and has the 1.5l boxer engine with 4-speed manual transmission.
Originally built as a “standard" version, it was upgraded into a “luxury" one during full restoration.
Looking for a near-perfect vehicle, ready to ride (believe us, you’ll have a hard time finding one with such attention to detail), look no further. This is it. We restored it aiming for the best, nothing less.
Car is just a thrill to drive and everything has been either overhauled (engine, for example) or fully serviced and inspected. Tires are new. We drove the car for approximately 50 miles after restoration, making sure everything is nice and smooth.
A few words about who we are…
Our family has a connection with the VW brand in Brazil since the 60’s, first as automobile dealers and nowadays as dealers of the German brands MAN and VW Truck and Bus.
During 5+ decades in the automotive busines, our late father gathered a very interesting small collection of cars from all over the world, with VW having a special place in it. We have Beetles, Brasilias, Variants, Kombis, SP2, Karmann Ghia, 1600L, etc.
We also own other classics, from several manufacturers. Preserving these pieces of history keeps the memory of our father alive and unites us as family. Each car we own has a story to tell and certainly a lesson of human ingenuity to be learnt from.
Students in the US back in the 90’s, me and my brother developed a special connection with America. Since 2015, we have a place in South Carolina that’s become our vacation retreat and this is the reason this Kombi has a SC title.
