1988 Volkswagen Cabrio Triple White

Selling this mint 1988 Triple White Volkswagen Cabriolet with automatic transmission. This is a CARFAX clean 59,500 mile 2 owner car that was purchased and spent it's entire life in Naples, Florida. It's last female owner kept it for 20 years, putting on just 12,000 miles. With the exception of the stereo, the car is totally original. The body and paint is mint with no dings or dents, just a couple very small touched up areas. The emblems, chrome trim, and moldings all look new. The original top and boot cover is in perfect condition - the car had obviously spent most of it's time in a garage. The white snowflake wheels are near perfect and the tires are brand new. The interior is also in excellent condition as seen in the pictures. Because the car sat for a period of time, the following service work was done. The timing belt was changed, new spark plugs installed, timing set, both fuel pumps and filter were replaced with new, entire fuel system was flushed, injectors and airbox cleaned, Injection system tuned, new vacuum lines installed, motor mounts replaced, transmission fluid and filter serviced, oil and filter serviced, cv joints and boots replaced, tie-rod and ends replaced along with bellows, front ceramic brake pads and rotors installed and probably a few more items I'm forgetting. The car runs and drives excellent. Everything works as it should including the 134a retrofitted a/c system blowing cold, the factory cruise control, the windshield washers and all the lights and gauges. This is truly an excellent example of a Volkswagen classic - one of the nicest I've come across.
