1974 VW Westfalia Bus, Original paint/no rust, No Reserve

Runs and drives great, goes down the HWY at 65, No Reserve, no games, highest bidder wins this bus

We've had our little "Mariposa" for a little over 5 years, during which time we've done a great deal of work preparing her for much travel in our future retirement years. However life happened and we now have to sell her to cover some unexpected medical bills. Because we've done so much please bear with me as I list all the new and original aspects of the bus.

Engine- Engine and engine compartment are show room clean, with new engine seals, including push rod seals, new alternator and belt, new starter, with new battery and cables. Complete ignition tune-up, plugs, wires, points, distributor cap, rotor and coil. Brand new Redline Weber carburetor, fresh oil change along with transmission oil change. New fuel pump and lines, new final drive shaft and boots, new Sachs German clutch pressure plate and throw out bearings. Gas tank has been cleaned and coated and has new sending unit. New dual exhaust system.

Brakes- Complete new brake system, new master cylinder, all new rubber flex hoses, new front calipers, pads and rotors. Rear- new drums, brake shoes and all new brake hardware. Front- being a 1974 she has power front disc brakes which are also new.

Wheels and tires- Professionally painted wheels, beautiful original hub caps, brand new correct, hand caulk 10 ply radial tires with less than 100 miles on them.

Exterior- beautiful fiberglass pop top with reinforced structural wood, brand new Go Westy 3 window canvas top and new seals, all professionally installed.

Body has all original paint with typical battle scars, bumps and bruises (refer to pics of passenger rear top corner and front nose especially), we like to say "she needs a body massage" but is absolutely solid and rust free, even the battery tray is completely rust free, as seen in pics.

Brand new professionally installed windshield, seals and wipers.

Electrical- All turn signals, blinkers, headlights (high and low beam), brake lights, back-up lights and license plate light are in excellent working order, with auxiliary ignition, as well as the 110V A/C outlet (we will include power cord).

Interior- All original factory upholstery with original tags from 1974 Germany (with the exception of front seats which were recovered in the correct orange plaid ordered from Germany) and privacy curtains.. Top bunk is in beautiful like new condition. Original Z-Bed, sink cabinet w/water storage, original stove/ fridge cabinet, side table and kitchen table and rear cabinets. Front rubber floor mats are in great condition and has brand new wood and carpet in the camper area floor. Floors underneath are all rust free, please refer to pics. Original front door panels in good condition as well as original headliner.
