Up for sale is this beautiful, and extremely hard to find, 1952 Volkswagen Beetle "Zwitter”. This Zwitter was built in October of 52' and features a matching body and pan. This drivetrain is a period correct 25hp built February of 53' mated to a correct crashbox transmission (Believed to be original) Finished in L11 Pastel Green over cloth interior, this Zwitter has undergone a very nice restoration in recent years. All brake components are new including, shoes, wheel cylinder, soft lines, master cylinder, etc. All new shocks, tune up parts and much more. The car is still running a 6v system that works very well. The 25hp fires up easily, runs smooth, and accelerates with no flat spots or sputtering. The Semaphore turn indicators both work, although the passenger side can be a bit sticky. All other lights and gauges work properly. The speedometer is a correct KPH unit. The wide white walls are bias ply BF Goodrich with a 5th matching spare. This Zwitter features many accessories which you can see in the photos. The correct Telefunken radio is not hooked up, but present along with the hard to find amp in the front trunk. This Zwitter comes with a clean and clear 52' VW title and it is road ready. It runs, shifts, and stops extremely well. Very clean, straight, no present rust, and only a few small blemishes here and there. E-mail with any questions.
