1990 VW Corrado

1990 Volkswagen Corrado G60

Up for sale is my 1990 Volkswagen Corrado G60. This is a very honest, rust free, accident free low mileage example. It starts easily every time and runs very well. There is plenty of power and the car shifts smoothly through all 5 gears. It is bone dry underneath with no drips of any kind. I know this because I keep it in my garage on a lift with a very nice TR6 directly under it. All lights and gauges work as does the electric sunroof and electric windows. It has a recent Interstate battery. It has a clean Carfax except the previous owner allowed it to be titled with the title stating "Exceeds Mechanical Limits." The current mileage of 75,413 is believed to be accurate and is supported by the Carfax mileage timeline. The mechanical limits of the odometer have not been exceeded.
This car has mostly original paint and it is starting to fade. I polished it 6 months ago and it looked pretty good. A couple of panels have been resprayed along with the front bumper and the match is not great. There is a small dent below the right rear tail light that can be seen in the photos.To be perfect, it could use a respray. Although the driving experience is very nice as is. You could fly in and drive it home if you like. I recently took it 200 miles with no issues.
The wheels have been refinished and have recent Dunlop directional tires. The interior is very clean and comfortable with no tears, fading, or unusual smells. The seats and dash look great. The driver's seat does not show wear but does have a very small circular flaw that is about 1/4" on the seat bottom. The passenger side window functions correctly but it has some light scratches. A replacement glass comes with the car. The air conditioning is not currently functioning but it is all there. The temp control and blower fan works fine as does the electric cooling fan. This car is ready to be enjoyed as is or taken to the next level. It is a very nice, unmolested Corrado. And they are getting harder to find.
