Up for sale is asuper nice1985 VW Vanagon GL seven passenger van. It has 208K miles and the engine was rebuilt at 175K and has recently been serviced by one of California's premier Volkswagen mechanics. The battery is new and the tires were replaced a few years ago and are in great shape. The engine is a 1.9 liter with a four speed manual transmission. The van features intermittent wipers, a rear wiper washer, tachometer, digital clock, temperature guage, rear window electric defroster, power steering AM/FM stereo and is equipped with VW's weekender package. The van is pastel white with blue pin striping and a blue velour interior. With the exception of a small dent over the left rear tire, the body and paint arein very good condition. Please consider that the paint job is originalso there are a few very minordoor dings/scratches here and there but overall this vehicle shows very nicely. Some of the window rubber gaskets are showing signs of dry rot but glass is in very good condition. This is a California car so there is no rust. The interior fabrics are a bit faded due to agebut there are no rips or tears in the fabric. Theseats and carpetwere recently professionally steam cleaned. The headliner had a small tear in it near the back whichwas patched with Mercedes fabric by an upholstery shop. Vehicle has all service records, original vehicle manuals and includes the original window sticker. I'm selling the Van for my brother who was recently transferred for work to the Midwest. The title is clear and thevehicle is ready to go. It is currently being stored at a private homein California.
