1982 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon

Hello everyone who showed interest in this bus last time round! I swapped the 1.6na for a strong dependable 90k mile engine that has been our family's daily driver for the last two years. We upgraded our passenger with the 1.9na so this Vanagon runs great now! I purchased this clean Vanagon last fall and know that it was driven last on the road in 2014. Originally the van made it to Pennsylvania from Portland, OR in 97' with 48K miles on it. Then in 2009 it had 81K miles on it in New York and was driven there until 2013. I bought it off an auto repair shop in east Michigan for it last year. The body has some surface rust on the underside but still very clean and no through rust. The rear right corner has a smaller dent that looks like it will be not to difficult to pull it out. The interior is very clean with nothing missing (even the rear speakers) all parts are there minus the middle seats. It came also with the original blue base to the driver's seat which I will swap back. The blue was professionally painted to match the navy blue original two tone. This engine gets 33 mpg and I can have a veggie oil kit installed for an additional $700 which would make this blue beauty a great travel partner for anyone waiting to hit the open road.
