1982 Toyota Tacoma SR5

For sale I'm posting my 1982 Toyota SR5 4x4 5speed manual pickup. It has the sought after 22R carbureted engine and L52 5 speed manual transmission. It doesn't get any better than this for classic vintage Toyota pickups, Toyota lovers :D Fully loaded from the factory, the SR5 edition; it came with factory air conditioning, and sunroof along with all options available in 1982 on a pickup. I have owned this truck for several years and it sure does draw attention!Very dent free, Zero bondo or rust on the truck, the bed is even dent free inside.100% BONE STOCK down to the original twist knob stereo, cassette player, and chrome SR5 rims/ graphics.
Clean old Toyota hilux pickup trucks just can't be found anymore and I have invested thousands over the years to ensure it is in top shape. Just recently I installed brand new:
- OEM aisin carburetor new in the box
- New radiator (the original brass)
- new radiator hoses
- new battery
- fuel tank and fuel pump
- New Oxygen sensor
- Rebuilt driveline with new U-joints
- BRAND NEW tires (ALL 4)
- REBUILT front axle with wipers/seals, bearings, etc)
- NEW premium import shocks all 4 corners along with steering stabilizer
- Brand new brake system with new calipers, rotors and brake pads
There is more than mentioned, but as you can see this is a very well maintained, serviced vehicle and it shows. I can guarantee you will not find a nicer first gen pickup than this one especially with the factory decals :D. Everything works great aside from the RPM tach which occasionally works on and off (may fix before sale). The paint on the roof has minor checking, looks great still though, but keep in mind it is a 35 year old truck and is not brand new so do not expect a brand new truck, there issome wear and tare to be expected! :) It has current 2018 registration tags, clean CA title in hand, along with Carfax vehicle history report.
I have ALL receipts since brand new off the lot with many major maintenance items replaced (thousands of dollars) such as; brand new rebuilt transmission and clutch 50k miles ago, etc. It was a 1 owner vehicle until several years ago. I am looking to find a good home for the truck to take care of it for years to come as these trucks are next to none in similar condition, I've never personally seen another with even original decals. Only looking for a serious "cash in hand" buyer, so no joyrides or tire kickers. Have a current CA smog certificate just smogged a few days ago good for 90 days to transfer title to the new owner.
