Description:

1994 Toyota Tacoma

1994 Toyota Pickup 4X4. No, this is not a Tacoma (ebay decided it was). It is 6months before the Tacoma came out.
Extended cab. V6. Automatic. Overdrive. Cruise control. Tow Package. Cold AC. Hot Toyota heat.Immaculate interior. No rips, holes or tears on seats or carpet or headliner. One split in dash (see pic) which was badly repaired. One scratch above glove box (see pic). One glue stain (?) on carpet between seats (see pic).
146,668 miles. Yes really. I bought this truck for myself in Nov last fall. It had 139,000 then. When I saw it I felt like I was stepping back in time. It appeared brand new. The cleanest truck I had ever seen. So I bought it and put the 7k miles on it - all highway miles - before coming to the sad conclusion that I was no longer a truck person but really needed a van for my business. So that is the only reason I'm selling this truck.
It needs nothing mechanically. I would not hesitate to drive this x-country tomorrow. The tires are my absolute favorite: Bridgestone Dueler APT. I had them on my '88 4Runner and loved them. They have tons of life yet and never ever leaked any air!
There has been some previous body work done to the fenders: drivers's front &rear and passenger rear, but passenger front is original. The front drivers fender is the worst of them. Please see pics. The aprox size of the body work is around 5" max.
The rear bumper is a crumbly mess. Does not hurt anything structurally.
Rust underneath is just surface. See pics. It's the first thing you look at on an older Toyota right? The previous owner had this truck for over 10yrs but hardly drove it bc he ended up with a work vehicle. So the truck sat in the garage and he kept it up beautifully.
Oh - a weird thing which I have not bothered to fix: the speedometer reads 30 miles over the actual speed. The odometer, and tripometer however, are accurate. It sometimes goes back "to normal" after driving a few hours. Some electrical glitch?
Timing belt was changed at 127,000 miles.
Nearby airports include St Louis and Quincy, IL. I can pick you up from either one.
Any questions, please ask. Thank you for your interest!
