1994 Toyota 4Runner SR5 3.0L V6 with 5-Speed Manual transmission
Truck runs and drives great. Manual transmission goes into every gear with no issues -- no grinding and no pop outs. DOHC engine has good power and idles smooth.
Major repairs completed:
Routine recommended maintenance along with timing belt, water pump, thermostat, and drive belts at 177K
Head gasket was replaced as preventative maintenance. Truck still has original motor and transmission and has never overheated
New plugs, wires, and distributor cap
Newer radiator
Good battery
The Good:
A/C and heat work very well. All windows and lights work, sunroof opens and closes
4x4 works and engages with no problem
Engine idles smooth. No rattles, no weird noises
Rear window goes up and down with no issues. Rear hatch also opens and closes
Rear bumper is in great shape
Some flaws (mostly cosmetic):
A few knicks and scratches consistent with age
No front skid plate
Surface rust on the frame to be expected with age. However floor boards are solid and the frame is solid including the rocker panels
A few small rust bubbles on bottom of rear tailgate and the passenger rear fender (see photos)
Overall:
Very reliable, well maintained truck and many of the cosmetics are not uncommon. Truck has no warning lights and these older manual transmission 4Runners are becoming rare. This one has many, many more miles ahead. Title is free and clear
