1965 Shelby Cobra (Backdraft Racing) Supercharged 5.0 Coyote

This 1965 Backdraft Racing Shelby Cobra Replica was built in 2013. It currently has just 3,700 miles on the odometer. This gorgeous black Cobra has a supercharged Ford 5.0L Coyote V8 under the hood. Starting with 412 HP before the Supercharger, this is one ULTRA high performance ride. At 650 HP this car weighs just 2400 LBS. To handle all the power, a Tremec TKO-600 five speed transmission was installed as well as a centerforce triple disc clutch. On the back end there are BMW 3.31 gears. Also included are BMW power disc brakes, full independent BMW suspension, 18" knock off wheels wrapped in Nitto Z rated tires with drag radials on the rear, an aluminum radiator. For safety there is a 4-point seat belt harness on both seats and the drivers side is heated. This edition has been blacked out with black sidepipes, black window frame, and black roll cage. Quick jacks front and rear, Speedhut gagues and much more.

Step on the gas pedal even halfway down and listen to the Whipple Supercharger come to life. The G-force pins you to the seat and you still have half a pedal to go! Available as a "Big and Tall Edition" - Due to the size restrictions of the Shelby Cobra replica cars, only people of a smaller stature have traditionally been able to fit comfortably in one of these iconic cars. We at Modern Muscle Cars decided to create our version of a "Big and Tall Edition." We started with lowering the foot box to have more foot room below the pedals. Then we created and built a new seat design to make the seats very comfortable with a great seat position. We were also able to to lower the seats giving the tall driver a view through the windshield, not over the windshield. Lastly, we re-positioned the seat tracks to more effectively utilize the vacant space behind the seat, thereby moving the seat rearward. The end result? The Modern Muscle Cars Big and Tall Edition Shelby Cobra that will comfortably fit any man that is in the 6'2 to 6'4 range and up to 350 lbs.
