Description:

1964 Replica/Kit Makes 356

You are bidding on a Porsche Speedster Replica. This is a fiberglass replica based on a VW Beetle Chassis, but has many original Porsche parts in it that sets it apart from most replicas. The manufacturer is unknown, and the vehicle was purchased as built from a previous owner.
Original Porsche parts on the car include:
Fuel TankFuel ShutoffPedal AssemblyVDO Gauge SetSteering Wheel with Horn RingSteering Column with aluminum mount356 Floor Pans with Longitudinals and Jack Receivers (appear to be adapted to VW pans)Metal BumpersDoor LatchesSpeedster Top frame assembly with canvas top
Car has a modified shifter tunnel to appear more like a genuine Porsche. Reproduction Speedster seats with German Weave carpet backing, and german square weave carpet throughout the interior. 4 wheel disc brakes with aluminum drum-style covers, tonneau cover, Speedster side window curtains, coco mats. There is a stereo with speakers hidden underneath the bottom of the dashboard.
The Speedster has a Volkswagen dual port engine (1915cc we believe but can not verify) with dual Weber IDF style carburetors and electric fuel pump. Was told engine was rebuilt from previous owner but can not confirm. Runs, drives, and stops but should be gone over as it has sat for some time.
Vehicle shows it's age in a Patina like manner making it seem more like a survivor Speedster. Paint is bubbling in many locations, and has some scratches throughout. Please see photos.
This is a very unique replica with tons of Porsche parts and build characteristics that set it apart from most others. Fine tune it to drive it as is, or fully restore to take to the next level. Titled as a 1964 Volkswagen Beetle. Sold as is. Please ask any questions prior to bidding. More pictures available on request.
