Description:

1982 Porsche 911

1982 930 Canadian car sold new in Montreal; #57 of 89 imported in Canada in 1982. Well cared for with regular maintenance. I have records. Three local owners over the past 30 years +. Garaged and winter stored. 187K kms (117K miles) = 4.5K (2.8K miles) kms per year average, which these cars respond to more positively than sitting idle. Engine is strong with great oil pressure and does not smoke, only a puff on cold starts as is typical with these air cooled. No accident damage. Paint is Mocca Black (dark brown), is very nice, and is believed to be original with many touched up rock chips and the odd minor door ding. Keep in mind that the car is 42 years old. Glass is all excellent. Interior is very good with no cracks in the dash nor tears in the leather. NO VISIBLE RUST (galvanized body) in this car that I can find, and I’ve been through it top and bottom stem to stern over the past several years. Lower rocker valences were removed and resprayed 2 years ago to repair a few careless jacking dents, and the rear valence was recently replaced with a new piece to accommodate the centre-out GT3 style exhaust. When I added the GT3 style exhaust I replaced the NA rear bumperettes with the smaller Euro variants, plug welded the extra holes, and resprayed the bumper with the valence. Paint match is excellent. I have the original valence and a B&B exhaust. Newly rebuilt transmission, new clutch and related parts, new wastegate, new Bosch CDI, recent brakes all around and tires/alignment, rear wheel bearings, engine out service (head studs were checked and all are intact), and a long list of other stuff done. The car is reliable and everything works as it should. Used regularly in the summer so with warm weather and the salt off the roads I will start to drive it. Original Fuchs, sport seats, steering wheel, and rear wiper are long gone. Wheels are Fikse 17”, seats are Recaro Pole Position, and steering wheel is Momo Proto. Roll bar is bolt in, and I have the rear seat bottoms. Otherwise the car is completely stock. No recent respray to hide paint damage so what you can see and touch is at least 30 years old. Two keys, original tool kit and spare, owner manual, car cover, full set of factory service manuals, and assorted spares used and new go with the car. $145K Canadian dollars (approx $107K USD). Listed in USD for the ebay software and $145K CDN (wire transfer, no paper) drives it home. Priced to sell - realignment of priorities. Clear title/no liens. Car is located in Nova Scotia, Canada. Shipping is the buyer's responsibility but I will help.NOTE: THIS IS A REAL 930, NOT A TURBO LOOK 911. I have been unsuccessful in attempts to change the title to 930.
