Description:

1987 Porsche 944 Turbo

This is a 1987, Porsche 944 Turbo (951), with 98,886 original miles. It is Guards Red with Light Gray interior (beige), and has option codes C78, 158, 341, 418, 425, 454, 533, 650, 946. The car is completely stock, less the 17" Cup replicas, SACHS performance clutch, aluminum flywheel and CD player.
I am the second owner and have driven it for the past 26 years. The car runs and looks excellent, and has always been stored indoors. Maintenance history includes clutch and flywheel at 95,567 miles, steering rack at 87,827, water pump/pulleys/brackets at 81,459, timing belt/CV joints at 71,008, engine mounts at 61,252, as well as regular oil, air, coolant changes, and anything else that was needed (all major service done at the Porsche dealer).
The hood shocks are a bit soft, and is some slight staining on the interior mats, but the paint is in near perfect condition. Also, note that in 1999, the smog tester inadvertently entered the mileage as 194,572 instead of 94,572 (the hundred-thousandth "1" was/is more than half way up).
This really is a wonderful 951. The original 16" phone dials, car cover and all documentation are included. The car hasn't passed California emissions the past few years, so please, no buyers from CA.
Hopefully, someone will enjoy and appreciate the car as much as I have. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Thanks for looking! :)
