The car is factory original Slate blue metallic over dark blue leather interior with absolutely no collision history and no paint work whatsoever. This is a fabulous 2 family owner cab that was imported by a German orthopedic surgeon living here in the US - imported in 1983 showing only 2334 km or roughly 1400 miles. Naturally being a euro spec car - the M930/10 engine produced 204 hp which was up significantly from the 180hp of the US delivered cars and the G915/62 transmission was also reserved for the Euro cars. Car also came with tinted front and side glass with heated windshield, alarm system, air conditioning and special equipment for Germany.
It has always been impeccably cared for and treated to an "open checkbook " maintenance program with no issue, no matter how small, ever overlooked. There is documentation showing all possible upgrades having been performed including all head studs, chain tensioners, pop valve, etc and receipts for a complete brake job as late as October 2016 with new calipers, hoses, seals, pads, etc. Top has been replaced with a correct German canvas unit that currently shows no excess wear at all and tires are recent Michelins. There are no dings or dents......never any damage and this fabulous cabriolet comes with a complete set of owner's books including both languages......as well as maintenance book and other pertinent euro documents including the Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche North America. Unused tools roll and correct euro tire compressor - also with manuals and modern Blaupunkt CD and receiver.
This is a two family owned (both Doctors and best friends) last year for the 3 liter SC models and first year (since 1965) that a convertible was produced by Porsche which make this even more special and being a euro car is all the better as this cab not only drives like a new car but really makes serious horsepower and pulls like no US version can. This is a fine SC cabriolet and also beautiful inside and out - there are no weaknesses. It has been properly cared for, wonderfully maintained with every possible upgrade having been done and it is ready for the road
