1985 porsche 928S Black Manual Stick Transmission Rare

1980 Porsche 928 S

FIRST TIME OFFERED FOR SALE! This RARE 1985 (it's not a 1980--ebay didn't like the vin number for some reason) 928S is a manual transmission (estimated only 15-20% of 928s were manual transmissions). The car is in non-running condition. I have no tinkered with it. I don't know anything about this model Porsche's engine except that it is a non-interference designed, a V-8, and has fuel injection. the engine has correct level of oil since it was driven last--always a good thing--i have not changed it. belts currently are on the alternator and water pump pulley and fan and crank shaft pulleys, but not on the ac compressor pulley. ac compressor does turn. tires are goodyear and have tread, but are dry rotted. mileage is 117k and change. In 1993, the car had 82254 on it. It was driven regularly until 2006 when the original owner seems to have passed away according to my research. Car is complete to my knowledge. Suffers from paint loss on the front and rear bumper facia and the hood has paint missing-see white spots. original paint. nothing hidden. no evidence of body work. needs a battery and probably, a starter, for sure, and electrical system gone through. I don't know what else it may need. seats are leather, but could use reconditioning. interior would use refreshing, but intact. dash is cracked. I have one original key which fits, hatch, the doors and ignition. no owner's manual.
