1950 Pontiac Sedan Delivery

Here is a rare1950 Pontiac Sedan Delivery and 1953 Pontiac Chieftain (parts car) for $5,000in Colorado Springs for a build project. The Chieftain was included in mypurchase as a parts car to strip for the delivery. I bought these two carstogether as a project to convert to a year ago. As I have been clearing andcleaning It out, my back is aching. I’ve had spine surgery recently and workingon cars now is limited, that is why I am selling the two-car project. The 1950Pontiac Sedan Delivery has clear CO title. It is a 2 door, all window, has allfour tires, aired, rolls and steers, weighs about 3290lbs and is about 17ftlong. A Pontiac 350cu in engine and automatic 3spd transmission and driveshaftis included (not installed). Body and frame very solid (independentsuspension). There are a few areas of the body that would need minor metalwork, some old bondo patching needs cleanup, and there is some minor surfacerust. All exterior light fixtures and trim are intact. Interior stripped, butincludes bucket seats (I removed but have). Some original parts, including theChieftain hood ornament ignition keys, and the original windows included,especially the hard to get curved windshield, missing one rear flat panelwindow.

Included with the Sedan Delivery is a 1953 Pontiac Chieftain as a partscar, no title, with the original inline 8cyl engine and transmission. Floorpans rotting and the left rear quarter panel cut out, and tires busted-notinflated and sits on dollies. Has original dash, radio, steering wheel, andespecially the glass, except driver’s window broken, the bench seats, bodyfairly solid, some/most trim, bumpers, light fixtures, and more. A greatstrippable for the Delivery and sell the rest. There are a lot of partsincluded.

Will need a flatbed tow truck with a heavy-duty winch or theChieftain, to load it. The delivery is rolling but no engine and will need tobe winched. There needs to have capability to secure the V8 engine andtransmission.

I am offering this rare Delivery and Chieftain for someone tobreathe life back into. One previous owner appears to have started a conversionto an ambulance, there is a red flashing light and a gurney included. This is theperfect project, restore it or resto-mod.
