1965 Pontiac Bonneville

Vehicle Details

Here we have it! It’s a super solid, Mississippi rust free barn find 1965 Pontiac Bonneville. Okay, grab a seat and listen to the details about this gem. It’s been in dry, central Mississippi pretty much forever. It certainly starts, runs and drives. A complete restoration can bring this one back to showroom condition. Here is the beauty. The “bones” are great! This Pontiac is very well equipped. This one is equipped with air conditioning and the components are still intact but untested. She has power windows and seats. No need to look all over the country for things like the skirts, chrome, etc. they are all there! The glass is in good condition. There is a needed chrome piece for the hood ornament - a piece that isn’t unicorn - hard to find. The script for the drivers side hood also has the provision holes but the missing the script. I firmly believe this Bonneville is worthy of a total restoration but you can decide how far you want to take it. For a daily driver, I recommend a new gas tank and brake work. As you can see in the photos, I use a one gallon jug to bypass the gas tank. It does have a new fuel pump and filters. This 389 V - 8 also has new plugs and a rotor. This sweetheart of a Pontiac has dual exhaust with dual turbo sounding mufflers. I only have the 15” Buick rims wrapped in (marginal) Michelin Tires. Original 65 Pontiac rims are still readily available. The car does need brake work - maybe a wheel cylinder or two? Feel free to look at other similar Bonnevilles to evaluate your “bang for the buck”. There is NO reserve. This car is running and complete even down to the separate trunk and ignition key. If you do a total restoration, it will correct a few bugs like the window wiring and tail light operation. Examine all the photos. No need to worry about this being sold with a bill of sale only - I included photos of the body tag, door tag, as well as the correct, valid Mississippi Title to show that all of those numbers match. Check the body tag to check on this Bonneville’s “DNA”. If you come up with questions, feel free to ask. This Pontiac is for sale locally as well so the auction may end early. Question for you - after soaking up all of these details, what is stopping you from placing a bid? Local pick up only in Oxford Mississippi. Cash payment requires a 50% PayPal/Cash App deposit. Other payments must clear first.
