For your consideration, we have a 1966 Pontiac Catalina, numbers matching, gorgeous excellent driver!This amazing 55,467 original mile car is equipped with the 389 Pontiac V-8 and hydra-matic 3 spee, automatic transmission, power steering, and air conditioning. This Catalina is color code D Fontaine Blue, with original factory, painted color, code, C Cameo Ivory, white top. This Gorgeous Catalina sports an older approximately 25 year old repaint in its original color. The paint job is nice driver quality, on a super straight, rust free body. This Catalina was recently buffed out and it looks absolutely gorgeous. This awesome Catalina has an exceptionally solid, rust, free undercarriage, frame, body,and trunk. This amazing Pontiac still retains all of its original sheet metal.This car presents extremely well and can be enjoyed as a daily driver, and would do very well at your local car shows. Mechanically, the car has received thorough regular maintenance over the years, and includes a folder full of maintenance records.Under the hood is clean, but could usea little detailing to be perfect. Recent upgrades include newer shocks, miscellaneous brake work, tune up, and muffler. This Catalina still has its original r-12 air conditioning system, but it will need a charge or ultimately updated to the modern refrigerant134A. This Catalina has new Cooper Cobra radial GT tires with approximately 500 miles. Overall this Catalina runs and drives fantastic with no issues. This Catalina has no braking problems however, it still retains its original single chamber, master cylinder, and for safety reasons, we recommend upgrading to modern dual chamber master cylinder. ( If this is of interest, it can be done for an additional $375.00. This includes brand new, dual chamber, master cylinder, conversion kit, fresh fluid, and labor ) The interior is all original and looks fantastic! Nearly perfect! Please see videos below. The headliner is flawless, the door panels and dash are all in nearly flawless condition as well.The carpet is showing a tiny bit of age but still looks very, very good.Turn signals, interior, lights, horn, exterior lights, in good, working condition.The original radio does not work, but this may be a fuse, we didn’t check. There is a period Correct Craig Panasonic 8 track cassette mounted under the dash and it is in good working condition. The interior on this Catalina truly looks like brand new! Also, in the trunk we have the original blue Pontiac floor mats that came with the car when brand new. The mats are in nearly pristine condition! All windows and glass is functional and in very good condition. These Catalinas are getting super hard to find in this condition. This original 55K mile time capsule is ready to hit the local shows or simplybe enjoyed as is.
