Description:

1973 Pontiac Grand Am

Here is a project I bought drove around and then decided to strip the factory admirility blue paint off and redo it in black . The car is a low mileage all original 1973 grand am with the 230HP 4 barrel dual exhaust engine (still original exhaust ) and a 4 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION . The 400 is the best running v8 I have ever owned and ive owned 30 year worth of cars . The 400 fires right up goes to high idle and has full oil pressure - its a sewing machine - the clutch, brakes, 4 speed, posi rea, steerin, suspension, are all perfect in this car - its never been beat on or abused. The floors are original including the trunk floor and the frame is excellent . I have the nos, bumper, and most all parts up in the garage loft area . - The nose has a NOS emblem on it and the rear bumper is excellent. The car needs little to no mechanical wor, it needs body paint and interior work - even though the dash and console and steering wheel are damn near mint - basically seats and door panels need work and new carpet and headliner . The body is real nice for the age but does need a few patches here and there - NO PANELS NEED REPLACEMENT - . small patches here and there can be fabricated and welded in . (I am a ase master paint and body guy so this body for a 1973 is nice ). The front edge of the roof needs some fab work as well- even though its not a vinyl top car it trapped a bit of moisture up there as well . The car has restored honeycomb wheels with new bfg tire, I have the hood for it also . ask any questions - I have a free and clean NY title that has the buyers section open for who ever finishes the car up and actually registers it - I never did register it in my name . Title was left open.
you wont find another one like it - most are butchered up under the hoo, have no a/, have wrong engines, and forget bout finding a factory posi 4 speed car . the emergency brake even work, so does the factory tach and gauges . again ask questions - wont last long- if a real car guy runs past this car -he will know its a $$$35k car all done . I will send title after payment clears if your a out of town buyer - I will assist and load the car also
if you want me to put a light coat of primer on the car so it doesn't rust in transport - send $300 to my paypal following purchase - ill get the material, mask it off and apply a light coat of primer .
