Description:

1965 Plymouth Barracuda

Hello all!
For your consideration is this very restorable 1965 Barracuda.
The VIN tag on the fender is gone. It was assigned a Connecticut VIN number in 1990. It is my understanding that the original tag would have been removed at that time. I do have the build sheet from under the seat. I have every reason to believe this was always a V-8 / 4 speed car as nothing appears to be molested in terms of the k-frame, tunnel or pedals.
I have no title.
I tried to post pictures of the worst of the car up. The wheel wells obviously need to be rehabbed. I would say the floor can be patched as it is really pretty good. The same can be said for the inner fender wells as the tops are fine and the only issues are just below the upper shock mounts. Everything else looks solid.
The more time I spend around this car the less daunting the restoration looks to me. That said, I would be happy with the floors and wheel wells done, a good coat of primer and some race buckets so I could enjoy it ASAP.
I have not inventoried all the trim, but do know it has all three "Barracuda" and "V-8" emblems. There is a lot of stuff, it looks to have most everything else. All seat belts, arm rests and other interior items seem present.
The trans and motor are included. The motor was a full rebuild 20 years ago, no idea on its current status.
The dash, cluster and glove box are presentable. It has an AM radio with the factory rear speaker switch and an aftermarket FM converter... oh boy how many of those did I install!
I have the front buckets and many trim panels. Over the week I will look for and list an inventory of the interior.
All glass is in place.
It actually comes with both sets of original keys. The ignition and trunk work and there are tumblers for the doors.
I really want to see this car saved; it was a gift from my children that I never got to so I will try to help out if I can.
I will update this listing over the week as I find more items.
This vehicle needs to be removed from the property within 10 days of the end of the auction. We have a looming deadline to get our property cleaned out. We will help if we can.
We reserve the right to end the auction early, pretty unlikely.
