This 1936 roadster has only been driven 1345 miles since being off frame professionally restored.

It has the original 221 L head V8 with optional rare, aluminum heads and original manual 3 speed transmission.

A Beautiful 1936 Ford factory exterior color called light fast maroon with factory original stitched fine colonial grain leather interior. This car has a 3.54-1 final drive ratio for Improved Highway drivability.

Loaded with early Ford options as mentioned aluminum heads with part number 48–6049/50 used through 1936, factory Am radio, Ford clock mirror, wind wings, duel side mirrors, rear mount spare tire, deluxe factory Ford chrome wheels with trim rings, accessory, stainless steel spotlights, cloth top with glass rear window, Accessory Ford greyhound hood ornament not mounted, banjo steering wheel, stainless steel, deluxe dual mirrors just added this weekend, exhaust deflector, and fender skirts.

This car was restored by well renowned early Ford restoration specialist John Zimmer of Illinois. John goes way back decades ago when you could still buy a brand new original 36 Ford grill crated in straw at the Ford factory NOS, You could also purchase all four fenders NOS, and running-boards NOS which John obtained for this old Fords restoration. Also front and rear bumpers that still present showroom new. He installed all of these items on this spotless rust free Ford Roadster. John also restored early Packard's and Stanley steam cars. Please see the old Bill of sale photo dated 6/1/02 from John Zimmer he wrote 22 years ago on an old envelope to the owner I purchased this early Ford from. The Owner I purchased this car from owned the car for 22 years and only drove it 1200 miles from John Zimmer's restoration with odometer set to Zero after his beautiful restoration . For 22 years he stored this car on a heated floor next to his boiler at his home and only drove the car on nice sunny days each year to keep it in beautiful running condition until my purchase. Truly an incredible story. The owner I purchased this old Ford roadster from stated its one of the top 10 roadsters anywhere in the US.

This car is equipped with four wheel mechanically, actuated drum brakes. New Firestone correct tires with just over 100 miles. I have the original NOS fender skirts wrapped in blanket still in primer that will go with this car along with a NOS factory under running board antenna. Please note I just purchased the twin front SS spot lights and dual mirrors and installed them so some of the photos show the car without the spotlights on the car. Also as you can see I have been driving this car this summer and mileage has gone up just a little from mileage on the Video from 1200 purchase miles to now 1345 miles.

A shop manual and various original literature as seen in photos will go with this car. Truly a meticulous showroom restoration that runs smoothly and drives very nice at highway speeds. Please call for the amazing history of this old Ford.
