Hello.. Up for bid is a Beautiful 1972 AMC Javelin AMX "Dozen"! This is an extremely rare P1 Midnight Black AMX. 12 AMX's left the factory in P1 Midnight Black in 1972. This car is one of the 12. Very original car in excellent show condition that is ready to enjoy. the original 304CID V8 Engine and Three Speed Manual Transmission. It is turn key, runs and drives excellent and has great power. It drives straight down the road with no play or shaking in the steering. It rides very smooth and is fun to drive. It is a very quick car for a 304 but also very street friendly. The motor was rebuilt to factory specs and sounds great. It has just 81,000 miles and a two owner car. It recently passed safety inspection in 2024. The P1 Midnight Black Metallic paint was redone to a high quality about 20 years ago and still looks excellent. It shines great and is very straight. The body is solid, straight and has excellent fitments. It is set of with the gold "T" stripes and a correct set of rally wheels with BF Goodrich Radial Tires. This car is in very nice condition but has been driven and enjoyed so there is some very small blemishes noticeable up close. Overall an excellent show cruiser that will get attention and compliments anywhere you take her! The interior is all original and looks very nice. The drivers seat has just minimal wear The rest of interior looks excellent including a crack-free dash, excellent door panels, headliner, carpeting, etc. Everything works on the car except that tachometer. All of the lights, wipers, horn, heater, etc function as they should. The car has great options including power steering, bucket seats with console, floor shift, rear spoiler, tic-toc-tach with rally pac gauges, all weather climate control, factory spare tire, rally wheels, much more. The engine compartment, trunk and underside also in very good condition. The underside looks all original and solid. I have attached a picture of the original trim tag showing this is a real P1 car. Of the 12 made there is believed just a handful remaining. This rare black/black AMX is a great investment you can enjoy while it keeps climbing in value.
